Rory’s place is on the very pretty Main Street of Killyleagh. The house is peaceful and cozy. We had an amazing stay all due to Rory’s hospitality. We even got given some food for breakfast! Highly recommend!

Really cute little place on the High St in Killyleagh just below the castle! Well equipped with everything you need. Great communication from Rory .. easy to find, park and access all ran super smoothly. Small narrow kitchen just off the street and big spacious bedroom and shower room upstairs. Spotless, and lovely clean bed, bedding. Slept really well :) The courtyard is completely secure and good for my dog. Killyleagh is on the lough, so easy to get the dog out for walks. Well located to get to Strangford ferry, and gorgeous Delamont parks for walks and I'd recommend Fodder nearby - busy but amazing cafe and farm shop.

From the moment we arrived until we departed Rory made us feel welcomed. Absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back again. Couldn’t recommend it enough. Loved it Rory and we will be back for sure.

I could not say enough nice things about Rory and our stay here!! Me, my husband and my 2 children were at a wedding locally - even before we arrived Rory was a kind and gracious host, helping us with taxis as we aren’t local. When we arrived he met us himself and gave us a tour. He was so lovely to our children and they apartment is beautiful. The kids settled to watch some tv and chill out while we unpacked the car and we had a massive selection of streaming services to use. The kitchen had some snacks and milk for coffees etc which was such a sweet touch. Unfortunately we had to leave early the next morning but it was a really lovely memorable stay and we will be back!! Really lovey wee find!!

We had a wonderful stay at Ivy Apt. Rory & Jill were experienced hosts - evident from their responsiveness & attention to detail in providing exactly what matters to travelling guests. The area is picturesque & the village is charming. An ideal location for visiting Belfast while staying in a more rural location. Thank you so much for a truly memorable visit!

Great place to stay and house has everything you need, wonderful that it's dog friendly too! Jill and Rory were really helpful and responsive. We had a great stay and got in some nice hikes and walks nearby. Would definitely recommend a visit! Thanks again for our stay at the weekend, we really enjoyed the weekend in Killyleagh and great to meet you both!

Lovely stay in a small but well equipped apartment. Our dog loved the enclosed courtyard. Some lovely little extras provided by Rory who was very helpful and next door if needed.

Lovely apartment with everything you would need for a stay in the delightful village of Killyleagh. Rory and Jill are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely touches such as wheaten bread, eggs, milk and beans plus snacks and even dog treats! There is a lovely courtyard to have breakfast in. Bed really comfy. The apartment is on 2 levels with quite a steep stairwell so maybe something to bear in mind for accessibility. All in all a perfect place for couples / small family and dog friendly! Also there is hepa filtration so covid safe! And spotlessly clean.

Great stay! Cosy little apartment, conveniently located in a great area.
Very modern and has all the things you need for great stay. I loved the little added touch of having fresh eggs and wheaten bread ready for the morning. Would stay again. Highly recommend.

The apartment is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and contained everything I needed for my short stay, as well as little extra touches such as nice tea, really good butter and even dog treats.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Ivy Apartment. Rory & Jill are super hosts and very welcoming. They had even laid on a wee treat & card for my husband’s birthday which was very much appreciated. Everything in the apartment has been carefully planned and it is very tastefully decorated. We had our dog Mia with us and she enjoyed exploring the outdoor area to the rear of apartment, which was all secure. We visited local tourist venues on Saturday, Fodder & Finnebrogue Wood, Daft Eddys for refreshments & The Oak in Darragh Cross for a great meal. Lovely breakfast in the Picnic cafe just up the street from the apartment on Sunday. Able to eat outdoors at all of these as doggy came too.

We have recently stayed at Ivy apartments and from the moment we contacted the owners to the day we left the experience was truly wonderful. Rory and Jill were very helpful and accommodating and the apartment is very tastefully decorated with all the mod cons that you could wish for. There is a lovely outside area, quiet and private and a sun trap…yes there is sunshine in Killyleagh! It truly is a great apartment and we would not hesitate to return. The hosts are meticulous and left lots of lovely touches such as milk, eggs, bread to see us through…just in case. The location is prime smack bang on the main thoroughfare fare with the Dufferin Inn across the road in case you get thirsty. Parking was not an issue either and everyone was so helpful.

A+. 110%. Our stay The Ivy Apartment in Killyleagh was simply wonderful! All of our needs were catered for. The apartment is beautiful with fresh tasteful decor and so comfortable, we just wished we could have stayed longer. Situated directly across the road from the Dufferin Arms, staying in the Ivy allowed us to come and go at our leisure. We loved every minute of stay.
